The certificate programs are valued professional credentials, offered on a full-time or part-time basis.

The certificate in polymer engineering is open to all NJIT full-time and part-time graduate students. Four courses are required to complete the certificate. Prerequisites and corequisites are listed in the program description.

Course work for the certificate can be completed in two semesters. All courses are given at NJIT's Newark campus although some courses may also be broadcast via ITV to off-campus sites.
