Why pursue a minor in Materials Engineering?

Materials play an important role in every industry and facet of life. Materials engineering is an interdisciplinary study of the properties of matter and the development of novel applications of materials.

Undergraduate Majors and Minors

The minor in Materials Engineering exposes students to the interrelation between properties, processing techniques, characterization methods, and selection criteria for materials that include biomaterials, ceramics, metals and alloys, polymers and composites.
