Research Interests

  •  Solution thermodynamics, including modification of equations-of-state and/or their mixing rules to obtain better representation of high-pressure phase equilibrium, such as supercritical solubilities; application of ab initio quantum mechanical calculations to the analysis of the energetics in group interaction models; nucleation phenomena in polymeric foams; physical treatment of hazardous wastes, focusing on stabilization/solidification technologies and advanced methods of product characterization.
